Holy CRAP, my first blog post!!!
You may be thinking; What kind of self-respecting food blog posts about making a sandwich?! Put It In Your Mouth doesn’t give a F*** what you think. I like sandwiches, so I’ll make a sandwich, take pictures of said sandwich, eat that sandwich and then put that sh*t online!
Gotta ❤ a good deal!!!
But that’s not all. I also enjoy saving $$$, so I’ll get almost all my ingredients from the 99 cents Only Store! Did they sponsor this post? Hell no, but I wouldn’t say no if they called and offered (hint, hint 🤑). Everything but the bread and cheese came from that cornucopia of cheap goodness, and those two items were gotten on sale at the local Food 4 Less (also not a sponsor 😐).
Really cheap, really good.
French bread, .99 per loaf, Swiss cheese, less than $4 per pound. Yes, those are heirloom tomatoes. Yes, that’s Grey Poupon (anyone remember those commercials where guys in Rolls Royces carry that stuff around to share with each other?). Even the mayo is made from avocado oil, you heard me, AVOCADO OIL. We’re not playing, these are seriously good sandwiches.
Sandwich optimization tip…
A little tip from me to you; If you can put it in a salad, you can put it in a sandwich. Sweet red bell peppers and slivers of brown onion really take the flavors here to the next level.
Stay tuned, video coming soon…
